Khayelitsha with Earthchild
Janna Kretzmar is an inspiring, young woman who devotes her time to help youth through wellness and health with yoga and growing edible gardens, amongst other activities. Her vision developed into the model called Earthchild Project for schools of the underdeveloped areas of the Cape.
Few years ago I met Janna by a coincidence through volunteering in a school in Khayelitsha. I was fascinated by the amount of happiness and positive progress her project brought into the children’s lives. I want to share with you how this one persons ideas spread wings and gave hope to so many lives. I hope these photographs of gardening, yoga classes, playing football, mountain hikes and beach walks we did with the kids, will inspire you to read her story.
